Itinerary

CHECK OUT YOUR

New York, NY
Day 1
One of the world’s most vibrant and exciting cities, the approach to New York City is mesmerising, as icons like the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building come into view amid towering skyscrapers. This lively metropolis invites visitors to attend Broadway shows, appreciate masterpieces at the Met, MoMa or Guggenheim, experience the bright lights of bustling Times Square, or enjoy leisurely strolls through Central Park and across the Brooklyn Bridge.
Oak Bluff, Marthas Vineyards, MA
Day 2
Colourful 19th-century gingerbread cottages encircle Ocean Park amusement park in the seaside village of Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard island. The nostalgic charm of these cottages offers a stroll through history, with a Cottage Museum to learn more. Along with the Tabernacle at the Methodist campground, Inkwell Beach and the 1876 Flying Horses Carousel with 48 hand-carved horses, the town is a historic summer haven. With its nostalgic charm, seafood eateries and vibrant local arts scene, Oak Bluffs offers quintessential Martha's Vineyard.
Cape Cod Canal, MA
Day 3
Connecting Cape Cod Bay with Buzzards Bay, the Cape Cod Canal is a broad waterway stretching 17.4 miles. Opened in 1914, this scenic passage was built to shorten the journey between Boston and New York, meaning ships no longer had to navigate the windy route around the cape. Boats pass along this engineered passageway beneath 1930s steel-arch bridges like the Railroad Bridge where armoured trains once rolled.
Provincetown, MA
Day 3
Commemorating the 1620 landing of the Pilgrims on board the Mayflower from Plymouth, England, Provincetown, at the northern tip of Cape Cod, is the site of a towering Pilgrim Monument and adjacent Provincetown Museum. Beyond this significant past, P-town has a rich history starting as a thriving whaling port through to its arts heyday in the late 1800s when writers and artists flocked, drawn by the scenic Bohemian vibe. Today, the town is known for its galleries, theatres, nightlife and as an LGBTQ+ friendly destination.
Boston, MA
Day 4
Boston, Massachusetts, earned the "Cradle of Liberty" title for its part in the American Revolution. The 2.5-mile-long Freedom Trail links 16 historic sites, including the Paul Revere House and Bunker Hill Monument. Faneuil Hall, a historic meeting place, now bustles with shops and eateries. Boston's architectural charm shines in Beacon Hill's 19th-century elegance and cobblestone streets, while the Back Bay and Copley Square boast Victorian brownstones. The Charles River Esplanade and Boston Common provide green oases in the city's heart. Boston's intellectual prowess thrives with Harvard and MIT.
Portland, ME
Day 5
The coastal city of Portland, Maine, is celebrated for its picturesque waterfront and delectable seafood. The Old Port district features cobblestone streets, historic brick buildings and a thriving arts scene, including the Portland Museum of Art. The city is renowned for its seafood, with fresh lobster, crab, and other delights on every menu. Craft breweries also make the town a hub for beer enthusiasts. Portland's many parks and gardens include the Deering Oaks Park and the Portland Japanese Garden, while the Eastern Promenade offers scenic retreats with stunning views of Casco Bay and the city skyline.
Yarmouth, NS
Day 6
Founded in 1761 by New England settlers, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, encapsulates the maritime charm of Canada's Atlantic provinces. Nestled along the Bay of Fundy, it's known for its scenic beauty, including rugged shorelines, sandy beaches and historic lighthouses such as Cape Forchu Lighthouse with views of the surrounding coastline. Yarmouth's rich seafaring heritage is evident in the Yarmouth County Museum housing artefacts from the region's seafaring heritage.
Halifax, NS
Day 7
Nova Scotia’s lively capital is rich in nautical history and charm. Its seafaring stories can be discovered in the maritime museums, fortresses and bunkers that are peppered throughout the city. There is also an interesting counterculture contingent here, with striking public art and quirky shops on every other corner. Halifax is also home to plenty of fantastic seafood options, from street vendors to fine dining restaurants. The surrounding shorelines are beautiful and also worth exploring. Peggy’s Cove, with its picturesque lighthouse, is a favourite spot.
