Overview

Day 1. Lisbon

Day image 1
Spread over seven hills with São Jorge Castle views, bustling Lisbon is one of the world's oldest cities. Elegant Baixa, hilltop Alfama with its yellow tram, and scenic Graça overviewing pastel buildings, are top areas. The Jerónimos Monastery in Belém is a World Heritage Gothic site. The classic Portuguese pastel de nata custard tarts are a local treat. Europe’s longest suspension bridge, the Ponte 25 de Abril, crosses the river Tagus

Day 2. Portimao

Day image 1
The Algarve’s second-most populous city of Portimao is best known for its historic quarter and dates back to the time of the Phoenicians. With the aroma of freshly cooked sardines drifting through the streets, Portimao is a wonderful spot for downtime. The city's Museum de Portico is housed in a 19th century cannery. Further into town, Praia da Rocha is one of the Algarve’s most beautiful beaches

Tangier is a captivating Moroccan city blending North African, Spanish, and French cultures, offering exotic mystery, stunning vistas, and a rich history, including its reputation as the city of spies. Our journey includes a guided tour through the Kasbah, the highest point of the medina, and the bustling Grand Socco, where you'll experience the vibrant life of the city. We'll conclude with a refreshment break before returning to the ship.

Asilah - Pearl of the Atlantic

5 hours
Discover Asilah's rich history and cultural contributions as you wander through its picturesque old town. Visit the ancient gates and the Palais de la Culture, and capture photo opportunities of the charming white-painted buildings. Refresh yourself before heading back to Tangier.

Tetouan - UNESCO World Heritage Site

8 hrs 15 min
Embark on a scenic 1½-hour drive to Tetouan, where you'll explore the ancient Roman ruins of Tamuda and visit Dar Sanaa (the House of Crafts). Wander through the historic medina, including the Andalusian and Jewish Quarters, and enjoy lunch before visiting the Archaeological Museum and the 500-year-old Jewish cemetery on Mount Dersa, then return to Tangier.

Day 3. Casablanca

Day image 1
Casablanca, Morocco's largest city, showcases a fusion of French, Moorish, and Art Deco styles in its downtown neo-Mauresque structures. The prominent Hassan II Mosque, finished in 1993, features a towering 210m minaret with laser projections, and the 18th-century medina's lively alleyways provide a glimpse into the city's historical charm. Place Mohammed V, with palm trees and an elaborate fountain, symbolises Casablanca's dynamism

Day 4. Safi

Day image 1
Safi blends Atlantic charm, rich history, and vibrant Moroccan culture. Famous for its centuries-old pottery, the city features colorful markets, a lively medina, and sweeping ocean views. Its impressive sea-front fortress and dramatic cliffs offer a striking welcome, while Safi also serves as a gateway to Essaouira, whose UNESCO-listed medina reflects centuries of cultural exchange along Morocco’s Atlantic coast

Day 5. Agadir

Day image 1
Agadir's beach is alive with sea-facing cafes, overlooked by the 16th-century Saadian Kasbah which graces Agadir Ou-fellah hill. The sprawling El Had Souk has 6,000 glittering stores, while the reconstructed medina, reborn after an earthquake, offers a glimpse of the city's historical charm. Other highlights include the grand Mohamed V Mosque, one of Morocco's most impressive, and the Ethnographic Museum delving into local Berber culture
