Overview

Day 1. Casablanca

Day image 1
Casablanca, Morocco's largest city, showcases a fusion of French, Moorish, and Art Deco styles in its downtown neo-Mauresque structures. The prominent Hassan II Mosque, finished in 1993, features a towering 210m minaret with laser projections, and the 18th-century medina's lively alleyways provide a glimpse into the city's historical charm. Place Mohammed V, with palm trees and an elaborate fountain, symbolises Casablanca's dynamism

Highlights of Casablanca

4 hours
Embark on a captivating half-day tour through the vibrant city of Casablanca. Board your comfortable motorcoach and head to the majestic Hassan II Mosque, perched dramatically on the Atlantic coast. As the second-largest mosque in the Islamic world, it offers a rare opportunity for an interior visit, where you'll marvel at its intricate mosaics, soaring ceilings, and exquisite craftsmanship. Continue your journey through the city’s heart, passing the Notre Dame de Lourdes Church en route to the charming Habous Quarter, also known as the New Medina. This district blends traditional Moroccan architecture with French colonial influences, offering a glimpse into Casablanca’s rich cultural tapestry. Cruise along the scenic coastal road to Ain Diab, the city’s chic beachfront district. Take in the golden sands and ocean breeze while enjoying a refreshing drink. Conclude your tour with a photo stop at Mohammed V Square, framed by elegant Islamic architecture, lush gardens, and the iconic statue of Marshal Lyautey. Then return to the port, enriched by Casablanca’s timeless allure.

Jewels of Rabat

7.5 hours
Discover the charm of Rabat, Morocco’s serene capital nestled along the Atlantic coast. With its wide boulevards, lush gardens, and whitewashed buildings, Rabat offers a peaceful contrast to the bustling medinas of Marrakech and Fes, yet is equally rich in history dating back to the 7th century. Begin with an exterior view of the Royal Palace, followed by a visit to the stunning Mausoleum of Mohammed V—an architectural gem housing the tombs of the revered king and his sons. Nearby, admire the towering Hassan Tower, a grand 12th-century minaret surrounded by the remnants of what was to be the world’s largest mosque. Enjoy a photo stop at the ancient Chellah Necropolis before savoring lunch at a local restaurant. Then explore the historic Kasbah of the Oudayas, once a fortress against Andalusian pirates. Stroll through the tranquil Andalusian Gardens and sip mint tea overlooking the Bou Regreg River and the city of Salé. After a day steeped in heritage and beauty, return to Casablanca with unforgettable memories of Rabat. Minimum participation required; tour may be cancelled or subject to price changes if not met.

Day 2. At Sea

Day image 1

Day 3. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Day image 1
The largest city in the Canary Islands sits on the northeastern tip of Gran Canaria, where the Atlantic trade winds have brought ships into harbour for five centuries. The Vegueta quarter — the oldest surviving Spanish colonial neighbourhood in Africa — centres on the 15th-century Santa Ana Cathedral and the Casa de Colón, the governor's residence where Columbus is said to have stayed before his first crossing to the New World. Beyond the historic centre, Las Palmas is a working port city with a long urban beach, a thriving market and a distinct identity that belongs neither entirely to Europe nor to Africa, though it is shaped by both

Day 6. Palmeira, Sal Island

Day image 1
The port of Palmeira on Sal Island, the jewel of Cape Verde, is a lively fishing town with colourful streets and charming low-rise houses. In the heart of the action, Santa Maria, the island's premier resort, dazzles with endless golden beaches, a hub of bars, beachfront shops and seafood restaurants. In the northwest, Pedra de Lume unfolds the island's history through ancient salt flats, echoing the vibrant past of this captivating destination

Day 7. Praia, Santiago Island

Day image 1
Praia, on the southern coast of Santiago Island, means "beach," which aptly summarises this Cape Verdean capital. The bustling Plateau, Praia's old town, overlooks the Atlantic, hosting lively markets with local crafts. In Achada de Santo António, shops and restaurants cluster. Quebra Canela's golden sands are backed by volcanic scenery near Praínha, which offers a glimpse of the island's colonial history through its cobblestone streets

Fabulous museums, a thriving art scene and elegant seaside dining showcase Dakar's rich culture and forward outlook. The bustling traditional Medina quarter with its mosques, tea shops and street markets contrasts with the Senegalese capital's French-influenced architecture and cuisine. Traditional crafts like woodcarvings and paintings sell at Soumbédioune market, making it the perfect souvenir stop
