Our Responsible Cruising commitments and actions ensure that the terrestrial and marine environments of the communities we visit are explored sustainably and respectfully by our state-of-the-art ships, tenders and zodiacs, thanks to the stringent measures we take in every area of our technologies and practice.
Wherever we explore, we only ever use WWF approved sustainable fish and source the food we serve locally whenever possible. Striving to always offer a selection of prime local specialities, wines, beers and spirits, we aim to take our guests on voyages of gastronomic discovery that reduce food miles and support local economies. How this works out in practice naturally depends on the areas visited, but even in Antarctica low-food-miles produce can account for up to 50% of the food served on board!
